Jacob Thomas Knoll ("Jake") was born at 1:24 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3. It was a very fast labor. I started having regular contractions around 7:30 p.m. and we got to the hospital at 10:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, (they didn't know this until he was delivered, but his heart rate was dropping so they needed to deliver him quickly). But he's here and healthy and that's the main thing. We are adjusting to life and all is going well.

Congradulations Amy and Brian! You have a beautiful family. Sam will be a big help, wait to see. You both did a great job, Your boys are soo cute , I can't belive how big Sam is already. Congradulations again to both of you. I will have to come and see them when I am towards Ames again.
